Our first support group meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 5 at Faith United Methodist Church. We are beyond excited! This is the blog for Immanuel's House. We can share ideas, prayer requests, progress, exciting developments and anything else that will help follow through on our dream for creating this nonprofit with Christ at the center. Every person contributing is appreciated more than words can express and this journey will touch many lives in ways that only God can imagine.

ReplyDeletePlease pray for my dear friend, Linda Howell. She is one of the people who first introduced me to the concept of an organization that supports not only those with cancer but the entire family. Linda has just been brought home from the hospital because she had asked to be at home "when her time comes." Please pray for comfort for her, her husband, her school-age sons and the rest of their family as they face this difficult yet holy time.
ReplyDeleteFrom an e-mail from Sandra Shinall, who will have surgery on Monday, 9/21...."Please pray that God blesses the surgeon's hands and the team operating on me." I assured her we would pray for her.
ReplyDeletePlease pray over Immanuel's House and the new attorney's we have working on the Articles of Incorporation. Please also pray over our name. If it must be changed, that it reflect God's purpose and speaks to all who are in need.
ReplyDeletePrayer request from Karen Hale: My prayer request is for my co-worker, Suzanne, she has been undergoing treatment for some time for breast cancer and just received news that her biopsy results show cancer still. Please pray for strength and hope!
